The solution for bolt connections
Standardized fastener sizes have been around for decades, yet friction shims always tend to be customized to individual fastener configurations and flanges. We are changing that by using standardized size discs, applicable for all uses. MICROLOCK discs have been designed specifically for handling the high surface pressure in bolting applications, where surface pressures of 200 to 400 MPa are frequently present.
The MICROLOCK disc is placed inbetween the bolted parts, preventing joint failure by slipping and sliding.

The unique MICROLOCK S1 surface is optimized for bolting applications that use 8.8 and 10.9 grade bolts. The coefficient of static friction is stable in the entire pressure range of bolting applications, ensuring a reliable, slip-free joint.
